5th grade Robert Indiana inspired painting.

Adjusted learner turkey placemat with lines and patterns.

4th grade contour line shoe drawings.  Students started with blind contour drawing, then were able to look while drawing.  They added backgrounds and color to go along with their shoes.

5th grade Keith Haring inspired drawings.  Students chose an activity that was meaningful to them, and drew the "haring style" figure participating in that activity.

Welcome to my first ever blog post.  I have seen so many wonderful blogs out there, and thought it was high time that I got this up and running.  Here's to sharing art and creativity with others near and far.  The above picture of my art room was taken at the end of last school year.
